Family Portrait for 2009

This is our family portrait for 2009. It seemed like a good idea to have everyone in the pile of leaves until the dogs joined in. As usual, they made this experience fun.

Well Sam could not contain himself and wanted to be part of the pile of leaves as well (1). Maggie and Sam wrestle (2). Sam keeping an eye out for Maggie (3).

Maggie Joins in the Fun

Maggie, our golden retriever decided she liked Michael and Julia raking the leaves. She got excited and jumped in the pile. Then she posed for me.

We had a lot of fun at the Swoopes. One of the games was spitting grapes into cups to get points and whoever got the most points won. It was parents against the kids. We also played cracker ninja tag. Roasting marshmallows and eating smores after eating hot dogs. Sitting by the fire next to the river and watching the sunset. The kids then played flashlight tag. It doesn't get any better than this.
