Hooded Merganser

The first sign of spring is when the hooded merganser ducks migrate and land on our pond in the mornings. I was wondering what a certain sound was the other day. I didn't know that the ducks make this noise. Click here to to listen

Snow Finally

Well it has been all of 9 years since we've had snow like this. From 6:00am till 10:00am we enjoyed the snow while it lasted.
